Synopsis

Ray, a disgraced NHL star who was once a hometown hero, returns to Newfoundland following a drug conviction, only to have his wife Lillian leave him for another man and the pursuit of stardom. Left with his precocious daughters, Ruby and Rose, Ray struggles to find his sexual identity, while teenage Ruby begins to spiral down a dark path that leads to a potentially dangerous romance with Ray's best friend, Stuart.
