Synopsis

Top prize winner at both the Rotterdam and Miami film festivals, Alamar recounts an epic journey into the open sea. Before leaving for Rome with his mother, five-year-old Natan visits his father, Jorge, in breathtaking Chinchorro, home to the second-largest coral reef on the planet. As the two fish, swim and sail the turquoise waters, Natan discovers the beauty of his Mayan roots while growing closer to his father.
