Synopsis

While responding to a disturbance call, a police officer is murdered by a suspect high on a strange glowing drug. In defense, the officer’s long-time partner, Julie, has no choice but to shoot back. When the suspect—a prominent politician’s son—recovers, Julie and new partner Simon are wrongly accused of using excessive force.  Without the support of their superiors, Julie and Simon must infiltrate a drug-fueled underworld to find the dealer behind the new and highly dangerous drug, known on the streets as Sphinx.
