synopsis

Gagnant du prix du Jury au festival de Cannes de 2008, Il Divo raconte l'histoire controversée de Guilio Andreotti (Toni Servillo). Calme, rusé et impénétrable, Andreotti a été premier ministre d'Italie pendant sept mandats consécutifs jusqu'au début des années 1990 alors que la mafia la plus puissante au monde lui déclarait la guerre. Habilement réalisé et rempli de suspense, Il Divo est une histoire de partisanerie, de orruption, de scandale et de terrorisme et de l'homme qui passa à travers tout cela sans une égratignure.
