Chicken Chronicles, The

synopsis

In the late sixties, Dave Kessler is in his final year at high school and his life is full of problems. He has problems with his school principal, with his boss, with his successful younger brother but, worst of all, he has problems getting Margaret - the "All American Girl" - into bed. Moments of tenderness and moments of comedy culminate with the senior prom - the high point of the teenagers who have been attempting to cope with absentee parents, drugs, sexual liberation, Vietnam and the general process of growing up.
