Young Wives' Tale

synopsis

The housing shortage causes two very different types of married couple, each with one child, to live together. The playwright and his domestically incompetent wife both stay at home all day moving chaotically from one domestic crisis to another. Their married friends who own the house, both coolly efficient, spend most of their home life attempting to establish a certain amount of harmony. Farcical situations arise from attempts to keep nannies, who depart in understandable despair.
